Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of regular service in a Himachal Pradesh Government department, board, corporation, autonomous body, university or co‑operative bank.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh customs, manners and dialects.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Age is calculated as on 01 January 2026.
Pay Scale & Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Band Level‑13 with a salary range of Rs. 46,000 to Rs. 1,46,500 per month, plus allowances as per Himachal Pradesh Government rules.

Selection Process
- Preliminary Entrance Examination
- 120 objective‑type MCQs (1 mark each).
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Subjects: English & Hindi (40 Q), Omnibus Accounts (40 Q), FRSR & HPFR 2009 (40 Q).
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Main Examination in a ratio of 10 : 1.

- Minimum pass marks: 40 % in each paper and 45 % in aggregate (5 % relaxation for reserved categories).
- Final merit will be prepared solely on marks obtained, subject to reservation policy.
