Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 45 years
- Age is calculated as on 31 July 2026 for all three posts.
Educational Qualification
- Para Pump Operator: Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in any of the trades – Electrician, Wireman, Diesel mechanic, Pump mechanic, Motor mechanic, Pump operator cum mechanic – from a recognized ITI, or equivalent under the Government Skill Development scheme.
- Para Fitter: Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter from a recognized ITI, or equivalent under the Government Skill Development scheme.
- Multipurpose Worker: Middle (8th) Pass or its equivalent from a school recognized by the State Government.
Pay Scale & Salary
- Para Pump Operator – ₹7,100 per month
- Para Fitter – ₹7,100 per month
- Multipurpose Worker – ₹6,000 per month
Working hours: 6 hours per day.

Selection Process
- Marks for Matriculation (for Para Pump Operator & Para Fitter) or Middle/8th Class (for Multipurpose Worker) – 5 marks (6 marks for Multipurpose Worker).
- BPL family income criteria – 1 mark (not applicable for Multipurpose Worker).
- Relevant experience in IPH/JSV, HPPWD, CPWD, PSUs or authorized outsourcing agency – 2 marks (half mark for every six months).
- Skill test (Para Pump Operator & Para Fitter) / Physical test (all posts) – 2 marks.
- Total: 10 marks for each post.
Initial merit will be prepared based on qualification and experience. Approximately three times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the skill/physical test. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the tests.
