Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Educational / Technical Qualification

Fitter Auto ITI pass certificate in Automobile/Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by Central/State Government

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years as on the application closing date. Date of birth must be as recorded in the 10th/Matriculation Certificate, a Birth Certificate issued by a Competent Authority, or the e‑PPO for Ex‑servicemen. Aadhaar Card is **not** accepted as proof of date of birth.

Pay Scale & Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level‑1 (₹18,000–56,900) as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Additional benefits include dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, children education allowance, leave travel concession, medical facilities, CSD facilities, and other allowances/advances as per Government of India rules. Employees will be covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS)/Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).

Selection Process

  1. Written Test (objective, multiple‑choice, no negative marking)
  2. Trade Test for candidates shortlisted on the basis of written‑test marks and reservation category
  3. Preparation of Merit List (trade‑cum‑station wise)
  4. Tie‑breaking based on date of birth (older candidate higher) and higher marks in Numerical Aptitude, then Reasoning
