- Format: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Marks: 1 mark per question (Negative marking: 1/3 per wrong answer)
- Duration: 120 Minutes
- Syllabus: General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Basics of Computers, Environment & Pollution Control, and Discipline-specific Technical abilities.
Exam Pattern for PGT
- Written Test: 100 MCQ (1 mark each), 90-minute duration. Negative marking of 1/3 applies.
- Syllabus: General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, General Science, and Professional Ability.
- Teaching Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates must undergo a 100-mark skill test (communication, presentation, and problem-solving).
- Final Merit: Weightage ratio of 85% (Written) and 15% (Skill Test).
