Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate must be an Indian national. All genders (male, female, third‑gender) are eligible.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed a Graduate degree (Bachelor’s) from a recognized university or an equivalent examination, as of 01 August 2025.

Physical Standards

Physical standards are mandatory for eligibility at the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) stage.

Physical standards are the same as applicable to Backward Class (BC) candidates. Gender verification is as per the certificate issued by the District Magistrate under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2020.

Pay Scale & Salary

The post is placed at Pay Level – Level‑6. Detailed salary structure will be as per the Bihar Government pay commission norms for Level‑6 posts.

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Written Examination: 1 paper, 200 marks, 100 objective questions, 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks: 30%. Shortlist = 20 × total vacancies (category‑wise).
  2. Main Written Examination: Details to be announced later. Candidates must clear the Preliminary to appear.
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who clear the Main Exam will undergo PET as per the physical standards mentioned above.
