Application Fee

Qualification
Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch) or an equivalent degree in the relevant department, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or National Board of Examinations (NBE). Special consideration is given to candidates with MD in General Medicine or Paediatrics for Clinical Haematology seats.
Note: Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency (Academic or Non-Academic) are not eligible.

Salary Details
The selected candidates will be placed in Level-11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/-
- Additional: NPA + other admissible allowances as per rules.
Selection Process
The selection process consists solely of a Walk-in Interview. There is no written examination.
- Eligibility verification will be conducted via original documents on the day of the interview.
- In the event of equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Final results will be published on the official AIIMS Patna website.
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness clearance by the Institute’s Medical Board.
